MBFWA Outfit – The Final Day

Day 5 7

After a week of heels, snug clothing and glitz, my comfortable outfit for the last day of MBFWA was a welcome change!

Just as a tradesman tires at the end of a long day of physical labour, the MBFWA-goers tire after a long week of dressing up, being personable and running from late show to late show. It is inevitable that, by the final day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, the fatigue has well and truly kicked in, and outfit choices become a little more relaxed (as does your attitude about busting your behind to get to the next show on time… whoops!).

On our final day at MBFWA, Jenelle and I opted for comfort over ‘wow factor’, despite what the heels may suggest. After an entire week of outfits that get a little impractical by the fourth hour of standing, it was nice to be able to wear something that required a little less thought. I take my hat off to the girls who were rocking multiple outfits per day, and complex, out-of-the-box outfits at that. In the madness of the week itself, the last thing I felt like doing was racing to and from Carriageworks to change from one slightly impractical outfit to the next. I commend you girls, I really do!
